No, this bar isn't inspired by vulgarity. The "F" in F The Bar stands for Fergusons Downtown, an old Vegas motel that's now a shopping, art, and event space. It's about time it had a fully realized bar. While the clever cocktails and build-your-own Old Fashioned program are pretty awesome, guests can also appreciate the selection of local beer and low-intervention wines (on display atop the bar counter, making it easy to choose by labels or color). F The Bar is the kind of place where you can bring your laptop during the day or hang out with your friends at night when the lights dim and the energy picks up. The mint green paint job and faux foliage are welcome retro touches, but if you just want to chill on the lawn during warmer months, blankets and wine carafes are available to make it easy and comfortable.
How to book: Walk-ins only.

This is an intimate, ground-floor lounge at Fergusons Downtown, a vintage motel on Fremont Street that was renovated into a plaza for local, independent shops and businesses. Decorated with various greenery, it's a loose environment to learn about natural, low-intervention wines. At least eight bottles are displayed on the bar's countertop. If the color or label design catches your attention, that's a great place to begin a conversation with your server or bartender. Each is available by the bottle or glass, along with three house wines on tap–a red blend, white blend and rosé. So don't hesitate to ask for a sample. Wine is also available to go in a plastic cup while hanging out on the lawn or exploring the shops at Fergusons. F The Bar has a few snacks, including pretzels, fries and chicken tenders, but don't be surprised if the bartender breaks out an off-menu bottle and a bag of Oreos on Trivia Night. These are the combos that seem to work just fine on Fremont Street.
How to order: Walk on in. Just know F The Bar is open Thursday-Sunday.

Newly opened at the renovated Fergusons Downtown motel, F the Bar (as in, “Fergusons the Bar”) fills in what could only have been described as a gap in Fergusons’ offerings: a traditional bar. That’s it: just a bar. But a bar that certainly suits the vibe of the place, serving an assortment of local Las Vegas and Nevada beers, funky and natural wines, and playful cocktails.
